Return and Refund Policy

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
What We Consider a Valid Return
You may return a product if it:
- Is faulty or defective (not caused by misuse)
- Is significantly different from the description or sample shown
- Does not do what it is supposed to do
- Has a major failure that cannot be repaired within a reasonable time
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return for a faulty or defective item, please contact us atĀ sales@saurithhouse.com.auĀ as soon as you become aware of the issue. We assess all claims based on the nature of the product and its expected lifespan, in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos of the item (if applicable)
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method withinĀ 5ā10 business days. We are not responsible for delays caused by your financial institution.
Return Shipping
- If the return is due to a fault or our error, we will cover return shipping costs.
- If the return is initiated by the customer for reasons other than a fault, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:
- Opened or used pet food, treats, or consumable wellness products (for hygiene and safety reasons)
- Perishable goods
- Downloadable digital products
- Items marked as final sale
Please note that for pet health and wellness products, we strongly recommend checking product suitability with your veterinarian before purchase, as we are unable to accept returns based on a pet's individual reaction or preference.
